Buses and taxis to Rishikesh are available from Dehradun, Haridwar, Srinagar, Tehri, Uttarkashi etc. Rishikesh is on National Highway 58, which connects Badrinath. By Air: Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest airport, 21 km from Rishikesh. Taxis are easily available. Jolly Grant is well connected to Delhi with daily flights. By Rail: Rishikesh is well connected by rail with major destinations of India. Taxis and buses are easily available from Rishikesh to Muni-ki-reti and Swargashram.

Transport: Non AC 2x2 (27 Seater) Non AC Bus Seats are first come first served; the tour runs on a minimum number of seats (Non AC Bus 17, Non AC Tempo Traveller 8, AC Innova 4, Non AC Cab 2); with too few bookings it may be cancelled or postponed and the money refunded or kept for the next tour. A child is above 3 and up to 12 years and has a separate seat. Senior citizens (men above 60, women above 55) get 15% off the transport charge, with an age proof. All package tours are without meals. Ponies, dandies, ropeway, heli and other charges are paid on the spot. Tour 12 needs the Valley of Flowers entry fee at the Ghangaria check-post. Registration for Char Dham Yatra / Valley of Flowers / Hemkund Sahib on the Uttarakhand Tourism website is compulsory.
