Day by day

1. 1

   Day 1: 220 km by road (Tue)

   Rishikesh (Dep 07:30 A.M.): After Tea / Breakfast. The mountain road strats here through rich dense forest and passes through scenic and historical places like Narendra Nagar, Chamba etc. Chamba is a place of scenic beauty with spectacular views of facing snow capped mountain Uttarkashi (Arr 12:30 P.M.): Situated on the bank of Bhagirathi is an important pilgrimage centre and the base for mountaineering exdeditions.The temple of Lord Vishwanath is the most important. A brief halt for lunch at TRH Uttarkashi Uttarkashi (Dep 01:30 P.M.): After Lunch drive to Harsil.Mountains view further improve and the scenic beauty reaches at climax. Harsil (Arr 04:30 P.M.): Indeed a beautiful sylvan hamlet,swinging conifers, sun kissed mountains , the place is perfect shoot locations.Group transfers to TRH Harsil. Dinner & Night halt

   Day 2: 65 Kms drive (Wed)

   Harsil (Dep 07:30 A.M.): 03 km drive/trek for Mukhawa temple, the winter seat of Gangotri,the Ganga Maa & Hari Shila. Mukhwa/Harsil (Arr 09:00 A.M.): Darshan & Pooja. Arrival back to TRH Harsil Harsil (Dep 11:00 A.M.): Lunch break at TRH Harsil & visit Bagori Village. Uttarkashi (Arr 05:00 P.M.): Visit Vishwanath Temple & Evening Arti Darshan.The Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) located here which is worth a visit. Dinner & Night halt.

   Day 3: 56 km by road & (3+3) km trek (To & fro) (Thu)

   Uttarkashi (Dep 07:30 A.M.): After breakfast with Packed lunch uphill drive through the terrace fields to Chaurangi khal. Chaurangi Khal (Arr 09:00 A.M.): For Adventure lovers, it's a trek of 16 km from Uttarkashi. Chaurangi Khal (Dep 09:15 A.M.): The 03 km trek is thrilling lush green trees take to tranquil spot of lake. Nachiketatal (Arr 10:30 A.M.): Nachiketa a devout son of Saige Udyalak, is said to have created this lake. Nachiketa Tal is a small lake aronud 600 Sqm surrounded with dense forest of oak & pine. On the bank there is a small temple of Nag Devta and in the west of the lake see the vast panorama of Bander Punch peak. Nachiketatal (Dep 12:00 P.M.): 03 km trek back to Chaurangi khal motor head Chaurangi Khal (Arr 01:00 P.M.): A brief halt for Lunch break Chaurangi Khal (Dep 02:00 P.M.) Uttarkashi (Arr 04:00 P.M.): On arrival group transfers in TRH. Evening free for leisure walk around the town. Dinner and Night Halt.

   Day 4: 190 km by road (Fri)

   Uttarkashi (Dep 08:00 A.M.): After tea & sumptuous breakfast.The route is indeed a very scinic offers views of snow capped mountains and deep valleys. On the way New Tehri is a important place, a new discovery in the hills. A massive artificial lake by blocking the passage of Bhagirathi and Bhilangana rivers, whcih will go into the annals of time as a colossal engineering feat in theHimalayas and town planners dream. N.Tehri (Arr 11.30 A.M): Visit Tehri Dam site & confluence view of Bhilangana & Bhagirathi rivers & Lunch break at TRH New Tehri. N.Tehri (Dep 02.00 P.M): Drive down to Rishikesh via Narendra Nagar once the capital of the state of Tehri and the palace of the former Maharaja, Narendra Sah of Tehri.The route passes through rich dense forest slopes. Enroute Kunjapuri Devi Temple Darshan Rishikesh (Arr 05:00 P.M.): Local sight seeing along with the route. (Tour Concludes)
